Install Joocode
One command installs the latest release, verifies the SHA-256 checksum, and
places jcx in ~/.local/bin. Works on macOS, Linux, WSL,
and Git Bash.
curl -fsSL https://joocode.yan.ad/install | bash Install a specific version or directory
Download the installer and set environment variables before running it:
curl -fsSL https://joocode.yan.ad/install -o install.bash
JOOCODE_VERSION=0.1.9 JOOCODE_INSTALL_DIR=/usr/local/bin bash install.bash JOOCODE_VERSION— pin a release, e.g.0.1.9.JOOCODE_INSTALL_DIR— change the target directory (default~/.local/bin).
Add to PATH
If jcx is not found after installing, add the default directory to
your shell PATH and open a new terminal:
export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH" Windows PowerShell
irm https://joocode.yan.ad/install.ps1 | iex
The installer selects x64 or ARM64, verifies the SHA-256 checksum, installs
joocode.exe to ~/.local/bin, and adds that directory to
your user PATH. Open a new PowerShell window, then run
jcx --version and jcx. Install a specific version with
./install.ps1 -Version 0.1.9.
Build from source
git clone https://github.com/yan-ad/joocode.git
cd joocode
cargo build --release --locked
./target/release/jcx Homebrew status
The yan-ad/tap Homebrew tap is not published yet. Use the verified
installer above until the tap repository is available. Release artifacts and
checksums are published at
GitHub Releases.
Uninstall
curl -fsSL https://joocode.yan.ad/uninstall | sh The uninstaller removes the binary and preserves provider credentials plus Codex/Zed settings by default.
